Tirril Brewery One of Cumbria’s longest established breweries. Family owned and proudly independent, brewers of traditional ales since 1999.
They brew using only the best ingredients, almost exclusively British, with the aim of making the finest beers without following trends or using gimmicks, but simply good old fashioned, beer flavoured beer, from hops, malt and pure Eden Valley water.

ULLSWATER BLONDE 3.8%
A blonde ale that is a session ale in character, lightly hopped and very drinkable.
WINDERMERE IPA 4.3%
This light beer uses two New World hops, Cascade and Liberty, to give plenty of hop flavor, without being overpowering. This version of the classic ale style has soon become one of Tirrell’s best loved ales.
DUNGEON GHYLL STOUT  5%
Complementing the range of beer styles is Dungeon Ghyll Stout. A full bodied classic stout made with both roast and Cara malts.
POINT 5 PILSNER r 0.5 % low alcohol
Now available, as their latest creation in the range of classic European Pilsner lagers – Point Five Pilsner 0.5%
Low alcohol, gluten-free, vegan-suitable lager
OLD FAITHFUL 4%
Their first golden ale, which was their best seller for almost 18 years, only recently overtaken by the lighter Ullswater blonde. A real crowd pleaser with a good burst of English Goldings for a pleasant hoppy finish.
GRASSMERE GOLD 3.9%
A golden bitter in the style of the greatest of British drinking ales, flavoured with three British hops to give this subtle beer good character.
WINDERMERE GOLD 4%
TIrril’s best selling golden ale, a crowd pleasing beer with plenty of Goldings for a pleasant hoppy finish.
