Dark Storm 6.9% Stout
This take on a stout and rapidly gaining cult classic status at the brewery with its name reflecting its colour and strength. Super smooth, rich and creamy on the palate. Won gold at 2021 Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards.
Malts – Pale, Crystal, Chocolate, Roasted Barley, Wheat and Torrified Wheat. Hops –East Kent Goldings.
Dennets Larger 3.8% New world larger
Dreamt up, brewed and eponymously titled by their very own Brendon Dennett. Dennett’s is everything a classic lager should be. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

Bysie Blonde 3.4%
In homage to the semi ruined mill behind their brewery, Five Kingdoms have used heritage Chevalier and Maris Otter malts giving a robust and developed malty backbone but balanced with modern British hops Godiva and Harlequin.
Wee McCash 4.5% Bitter
Their take on the traditional English bitter. Smooth with well-balanced malt flavours and hops. Named in honour of wee McAsh, the miniature daschund that stars in local artists Amanda Sunderland’s children’s books. Malts: pale, cara, crystal, roast barley, wheat and torrified wheat. Hops: East Kent goldings and saaz.
SummerIsle Session Ale 4.0%
The mythical island from cult classic film The Wicker Man, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023. A refreshing summers pale ale with a vibrant citrus aroma, clean crisp bitterness and a long dry finish. Malts: extra pale, naked oats, torrified wheat, and vienna. Hops: Citra, Simcoe and El Dorado.
Renton Pilsner 4.5%
Is Five Kingdoms take on the classic pilsner style, using classic saaz hops with genuine pilsner malt. Best served chilled it is simple clean refreshment but with bags more flavour than mainstream lagers, perfect tapps aff beer. Initially brewed as part of our literary characters special editions and named after the lead character in Irvine Welsh’s cult novel Trainspotting.
Capltain Morrison’s IPA 6.5%
Named after a seafaring relation who sailed round the world with his family on a trading schooner. Full strength IPA loaded with hops for a full on bitter hit! Light in colour, rich on the palate with a massive long bitter finish.
Sloedive Saison – 5.8%
Saison brewed with hand foraged sloe berries and damson from our farms and gardens. Dry, fruity and subtly spiced.

Five Kingdoms started off brewing in 2015 as a hobby and passion project between Alastair Scoular, owner of the local Pub and Restaurant The Steam Packet Inn, and head chef Brendon Dennett, who had previous experience brewing at 6degrees North. With the location, premises and experience of the pub trade and a pure passion for real ale, Alastair and Brendon were the perfect balance for a successful venture to create honest, fine ales. Since then the team has doubled.
Being a small team they are very proud and passionate about doing everything in house. From the inception of the recipes, to the names, designs, brewing, bottling, sales and deliveries.
In cask, keg, can and bottle they love to offer a wide range of craft beer from traditional real ales, to exciting and rich dark beers, to really inventive hop forward IPA’s. Each beer is uniquely inspired by something important to us, be it a literary character, piece of music, a place close to our hearts or even hard earned personal experience.
