Our overall impression of this gin is that it has great purity of style and is very clean. On both aroma and flavour, the producer should be praised for a well poised description, since the mentioned flavours were all picked up. The product has a delightful warm citrus character, reminiscent of very ripe Sicilian lemons, but also pomelo and grapefruit; the spiced finish is identifiable and well judged. The juniper is clean, of high quality and provides an ideal framework to showcase the other botanicals, sharing the stage. This is an excellent example of a contemporary gin, well executed.
Our Dry Gin is made in the style of a “London Dry Gin”, but with a subtle difference.
The aroma is juniper and sweet citrus. The taste is a hit of juniper which mellows into faint cumin and cardamom to give a spiced note with a hint of lemon, add a good dash of quality tonic, and orange slice which really works with the spice.
